EU-Führerschein in den USA

Hi,

da ich diesen Sommer fürn paar Monate in die Staaten flieg, wollt ich mich mal erkundigen wie das mit dem EU-Führerschein ist. Wird der dort anerkannt als Fahrerlaubniss oder benötige ich einen Internationalen Führerschein? Auf der ADAC-Seite steht das EU-Scheine "geduldet"(!?) werden, da wir Europäer aber denken dass die Polizei drüben nicht sehr nett ist wollt ich mal genauer nachfragen :-) war doch bestimmt schon mal jemand hier drüben und ist Auto gefahren.

War kein Problem als ich drüben war vor 2 Jahren. Wird jetzt ned anders sein.

ich hatte auch noch nie probleme, wurde drüben allerdings auch noch nie kontrolliert :D

allerdings hatte ich immer meinen internationalen führerschein dabei, sicher ist sicher ;)

das ding hast du ja relativ schnell, mit passfoto aufs LRA, wartest 10 min und nimmst das ding gleich mit!

wo gehts denn hin? bin ab april/mai evtl auch für ein paar monate drüben...
