WLAN Mini PCI Karte in Toshiba L20-157

Hi Leute,

ich habe für mein Zweitnotebook eine WLAN Mini PCI Karte gekauft, da das Ding werksmäßig keine Wlanfunktion hat.

Jetzt habe ich ne Frage zum Einbau: Muss man da noch irgendwie ne Antenne verkabeln? Weil die Empfangsqualität ist echt mies.

Ja, muss man. In den Notebooks sind normalerweise solche Kabel schon vorverlegt, die man dann über einen kleinen Connector anschließt. Wenn deines kein WLAN hat, hat es vermutlich auch keine Vorverkabelung für die Antenne.

es werden auf der toshiba seite auch wlan treiber angeboten. muss das ding wohl doch auch mit und ohne mini pci ausgeliefert worden sein.

Ja logo, aber ob das Antennenkabel drin is oder net weißt du dadurch halt nicht - wenn, dann hängt da ein kleines Käbelchen.
