Kann mir mal einer den Sinn der Bewertungs-Spalte in der Übersichtsseite eines Forums erklären

Jedes Thema kann bewertet werden - in der Thread Ansicht ist dann links unten ein Vote Button. Und das wird dann in der Übersicht angezeigt...

Ob dasw wirklich sinnvoll und nützlich ist, ist aber eine andere Frage
