Sie dealen, kiffen, saufen und denken nur an Sex Jugendliche in New York. Eines der ungestümsten Kids ist Telly (Leo Fitzpatrick). Seine ganze Leidenschaft besteht darin, Jungfrauen flachzulegen. Jennie (Chloe Sevigny, "Palmetto") heißt seine neueste Eroberung. Als das naive Mädchen ihre Freundin zum Aids-Test begleitet, stellt sich heraus, daß sie selbst HIV-positiv ist. Es gibt nur eine Möglichkeit, wie sie sich infiziert haben kann. Um Schlimmeres zu verhindern, sucht sie verzweifelt nach Telly... Der Fotograf Larry Clark provozierte mit erotischen Bildbänden aus der Jugendszene, bevor er mit "Kids" sein umstrittenes Spielfilmdebüt ablieferte. In dokumentarischen Bildern zeigt Clark eine Generation ohne Ethik und Moral. Die Akteure stammen wie Drehbuchautor Harmony Korine ("Gummo") aus den Straßen von New York. Allen gemeinsam ist der schmerzlich offene Blick hinter die Heile-Welt-Fassade des Jugendkults.

Ich fand den Film zuerst auch scheiße, bis mir eine aus meiner Klasse erzählt hat, die ein Jahr inne USA war, wie da die Parties ablaufen. Soll so ziehmlich ähnlich aussehen.
Aber is trotzdem reichlich komisch der Film...aja, was solls...dafür labern se am Anfang so schön scheiße :D

Der Vorteil der Klugheit liegt darin, dass man sich dumm stellen kann. Das Gegenteil ist schon schwieriger
