Kennt einer von euch....

Das Programm: CPUFSB 2.2.9???
Ich hab n P3 500MHZ in dem Programm kann man den Frontsidebus verändern!!!
Was kann ich denn maximal einstellen,wenn ich mein Mainboard angegeben habe??
Was passiert bei nem FSB von 110MHZ und ner PCI Frequenz von 36.7???
Wenn ich dann auf Frequenz setzen gehe, steht da das der CPU nun 550MHZ hat!!
Stimmt das???

Selbstverständlich stimmt das schließlich ist
CPU Frequenz=Mulitplikator x FSB
Kurz gesagt ( denn es gab schon soo viele OC Threads):
Der Nachteil beim OCen ist dass die meisten Mainboards kein fixen des AGP/PCI Busses zulassen und daher kann der FSB nicht viel höher als 10 % gesetzt werden, denn die PCI Geräte machen dann einfach nicht mehr mit.
Speicher und CPU sind meistens nicht das Problem.
Und eine zehnprozentige Steigerung des FSBs und CPU Frequenz merkt man überhaupt nicht.

Der Multiplikator ist dann sicher auf 5 gestellt, ja der Wert stimmt dann.
Was soll denn großartiges passieren? Entweder der Pc wird einen kleinen Tick schneller, die Mühle stürzt bei Spielen ab.... oder kann sogar durchbrennen. Wenn du zu sehr übertreibst, gehen dir deine Steckkarten oder deine Grafikkarte in Arsch. Achte beim Übertakten auf jedenfall auf eine gute Kühlung des Prozessors.

Ist der Multiplikator bei den pIII dingern eigentlich gelockt oder kann man den frei einstellen?
Wenn es geht, regel den fsb lieber wieder runter und übertakte ihn mit dem MUltiplikator.

Wo kann man denn die Temperatur des CPU's ablesen???

Klar kann er dir die Hardware zerstören, also nicht übertreiben und langsam! den fsb bzw. multiplikator steigern. Ich benutze um die temp. abzulesen cpu cool, ich bin mir aber nicht sicher ob es auch für pentium's geht. Was hast du denn für Ram?

Ja richtig; er hat den Thread wohl genau in der Zeit erstellt, als der Server kurzzeitig überlastet war und zweimal Reload gedrückt.
