W-Lan Karte EMPFEHLUNGEN??

Hab den Dl-514 Accespoint von D-Link
und den DWL-122 USB Stick...

leider is der USB Stick nur für ganz kurze Entfernungen geeignet....

kann mir jemand ne Gute mit dem Dl-514 kompatible Karte empfehlen die viel Reichweite hat, (Accespoint is im Dachgeschoss und PC im Wohnzimmer EG)

sollte nicht alzu teuer sein

Würd dann auch die Karte von D-Link nehmen. Der Standard müsste zwar auch bei anderen Hersteller ziemlich gleich sein, aber zum einen hat D-Link ein supergutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und wenn die Karte und der Router von der gleichen Serie sind, gibt's auch keine Probleme...

Ja richtig.

Zur Kompatibilität: ich betreibe eine Cisco-Karte mit einem D-Link WAP. Geht auch.

Ja gut, Cisco ist aber auch wieder ne Klasse (und auch Preisklasse) für sich. Ich meinte jetzt eher, dass mit No-Name-Karten eventuell Probleme auftreten könnten...

Ich meine mal einen Test zu dem Thema Reicheweite bei Chip gelesen zu haben. Kannst ja mal bei denen ( www.chip.de ) nachschauen, vielleicht ist das Testergebnis ja im Internet.

Wobei einmal durch eine Decke dürfte kein großes Problem sein. Evtl. auch mal probieren, die Antenne vom Access Point waagrecht auszurichten, also net senkrecht wie normalerweise. So ne Antenne strahlt vor allem seitlich ab.

auf tomshardware.de gibts irgendwo nen reichweitentest.

bei mir ist der accesspoint direkt unterm dach, ich hab selbst zwei etagen drunter noch empfang...

Die haben alle 100m Reichweite.

Probier's einfach mit einer ganz normalen Karte aus. Wenn es nicht klappt, dann installiere doch einfach eine WLAN-2,4 GHz-Antenne.

Ja schon klar - aber da gibt es auch externe Antennen, die man dann irgendwo im Haus zur verstärkung aufstellen kann.

Ja, ganz billig sind die nicht. Sprich ein Access Point als Range Extender käme da schon billiger :-)

Wie gesagt: kauf dir eine Karte und probier's doch einfach mal aus. Bleibt eh nichts anderes übrig...
