Frage zu dsl Modems

1. an meinem dsl modem vonner dellekomm hab ich 4 anschlüsse einmal fürn saft...logisch.... das vom splitter und eins vom rechner... so und jetzt ist noch einer frei der heisst "ATM25" kann ich da noch nen rechner ran tun???


2. hab mich heute umgemeldet zu freenet und da bekommt man ja den wlan dsl router dazu... kann man an den auch den rechner ranstöpseln oder geht das nur per funk???

Ich weiß nicht genau was der ATM25-Anschluss für eine Funktion hat, aber ein Rechner kommt da sicher nicht dran (dafür bräuchtest du einen Router). Möglicherweise sind das aber die Klemmen für die Verbindung zwischen Splitter und Modem (Verbindung funktioniert über klemmen oder LAN-Kabel, je nach dem was man verwenden möchte).

Im Normalfall hat ein WLAN-DSL-Router auch normale Ethernetports. Es kann allerdings sein dass nur ein so ein Port vorhanden ist, dann brauchst du noch ein Switch wenn du mehr als einen Rechner anschließen willst.

hab grad mal geguckt bei dem wlan router sind 4 extra kabel anschlüsse mit dabei.. geil.... :D

ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) ist die Alternativvariante zum Splitter-Port. Da kommen eben sog. ATM-Leitungen dran, die du mit DSL aber nicht hast.

Router kommt an 10BaseT vom Modem.

den router den ich bekomm hat aber nen dsl modem drin... da kommt das alte modem weg oder???
