Das Biker's IRC Network sollte nun demnächst auch in den offiziellen Netzwerklisten auftauchen (z.B. in der server.ini bei mIRC). Zumindest hab ich das mal beantragt. Wird schon klappen!

IRC Clients

mIRC und IceChat sind die einzigen brauchbaren reinen IRC Clients die ich bisher für Windows gesehen habe. Bei IceChat ist das schöne, das Smilys als Grafik angezeigt werden.

Ein recht einfacher deutscher IRC Client (der keine Installation erfodert), ist der IRC Client Dana. Einfach entpacken, die Konfigurationsdatei herunterladen und in das Programmverzeichnis legen. Fertig! Hier empfiehlt es sich aber, auch noch Skins herunterzuladen, denn so nackig ist es nicht sehr anschaulich!!!

Kennt sonst noch jemand brauchbare IRC Clients?

was ich gerade gesehen habe; nachdem ich diese clients gelöscht habe, dass man da auch irgendwie mit opera reingehen kann.
ist viel bequemer doch irgendwie klappt es nicht..
kennt sich da jmd aus ?

weiß nich warum, aber da baut sich nichts auf.
bin darauf gekommen, weil ich mal bei german-bash auf ein link geklickt habe und dann gings gleich mit opera. wenn ich das mit dem Biker´s IRC Network einstellen will geht garnichts, normalerweise sieht man ja dann da die Channels.

Benutzt Du das Chatzilla-Pugin für Opera, oder bist Du dort über ein bereitgestelltes Java-Applet im IRC online gegangen?

Das Chat-Applet findest Du auch hier auf der Homepage. Allerdings benötigst Du dafür eine JVM (Java Virtual Machine), welche Du Dir bei Sunherunterladen kannst.

Andernfalls kannst Du das oben genannte Browser-Plugin Chatzilla nutzen oder Dir einen richtigen IRC-Client wie mIRC oder IceChat installieren, was ich empfehlen würde.

ich hab das Millenium.IRC 5 Script, ist nen selbstgemachtes mit Witzen, Sprüchen etc.. design mäßig ist es akzeptabel

Wichtige Info zum Chat

Unser Biker's IRC Network nutzt derzeit noch die irc services mit NickServ, Chanserv und MemoServ. In den nächsten 2 - 3 Monaten möchte ich aus verschiedenen Gründen die Umstellung auf die Anope IRC Services vornehmen. Leider ist mir bisher nicht bekannt, wie ich die derzeit registrierten Nicknames und Channels bei den neuen Services importieren kann.

Aus diesem Grund bitte ich alle Nutzer, sich auf dieser Homepage mit dem selben Nick und der selben eMail-Adresse anzumelden, wie im Chat. Vor der Umstellung werde ich einen Abgleich zwischen den registrierten Nicks im Chat und denen auf der Biker's IRC Network Homepage machen. Sollte nach der Umstellung jemand nicht seinen zuvor registrierten Nick oder Channel erneut registrieren könnnen, wendet Euch bitte an einen IRCop.
