[gelöst]Nockenwelle?

Heyho,
wie eine Nockenwelle funktioniert und wozu sie gut ist, ist mir klar.
Nur was sind die Vorteile einer unten bzw. einer oben liegenden Nockenwelle? Da es oft bei technischen Daten von Motorrädern angegeben wird muss da doch mehr dahinter stecken...

Ok.. habs schon selber gefunden.. Hatte bei der Wikipedia nur nach "Nockenwelle" geschaut aber nicht nach "DOHC":
