Gabelöl

Will jetzt bald mal das Gabelöl von meiner KMX wechseln und da kommt normalerweise Öl vom Typ SAE W20 rein. Meint ihr es würde was an Härte bringen, wenn ich SAE W10 reinkippe?

10er Öl ist dünner als 20er => bei 10er Öl wird Deine Gabel weicher.

Ja, aber Du kannst ja mal probieren vielleicht funktioniert Deine Gabel ja mit 10er besser ;-)
Nein ernsthaft, 10er Öl ist dünner als 20er.

Um so höher die ZAHL, UM SO ZÄHER IN DER Viskosität ist das Öl.-

Dazu machst du noch etwas mehr ÖL REIN;UND DU MERKST DEN UNTERSCHIED mit sicherheit!!

Aber nicht übertreiben, wenn Du wesentlich mehr Öl reinmachst kann es zumindest bei Upsidedown Gabeln passieren, dass die Simmerringe kaputt gehen.

bei meiner kommen 500ccm pro Holm rein. Das ist ca. 0,5 Liter. Da mach ich halt eine flasche rein. Die hat ja 0,5 Liter.

ja, jede federgabel geht oben auf, muß nur vorsichtig sein, weil da ne feder drin ist und dir dann alles entgegenspringt wenn du net aufpasst!!!
