Monitor kein signal während windows installation

hab hier nen problem.

wollte nem kumpel grad windows xp installieren und während der installation (geräteinstallation) von windows bootet der computer und und während des bootens bekommt der monitor kein signal mehr vom rechner.

GraKa bekommt zu wenig saft.
Probier mal den CPU-Lüfter abzuklemmen.. vll langt es dann.. wenn nicht, nimms CD-Laufwerk

die Graka funktioniert ja im prinzip, eben bis zur geräteinstallation von windows xp.

muss irgendwelche softwaretechnischen gründe haben.

normalerweise funzt die GraKa auch ohne zusatzstrom, nur halt net mit voller leistung (zumindest bei nvidias so)

ich versteh dein Problem net so ganz. Du installierst, der verlangt ein reboot und sendet dann kein signal mehr? also der startet neu aber zeigt kein bild mehr an? Was genau hat der installiert, das er nen reboot verlangt? Kann jezz mit Geräteinstallation direkt nicxh so viel anfangen.......

Richtig und so könnte der Fall hier auch gelagert sein. Treiber wird geladen -> Karte bekommt für die nunmehr aktivierten Features nicht mehr genug Strom und steigt aus.
