Kaufentscheidend war unter anderem auch, dass man die Platte auf 32 GB runterjumpern kann und es somit auf jeden Fall funktioniert.

Mit einem Bios-Update kann man auch alte Rechner fuer groeßere Festplatten empfaenglich machen.

Also ich als dummie habs ohne Probleme mit ner kleinen Anleitung aus dem Netz geschafft mein Bios zu updaten. Sicherlich kanns gefaehrlich sein, aber das ist auch eine Straßenueberquerung im falschen Augenblick.

Gibts fuer jedes Mainboard nen eigenes Bios?
Ich dachte, es gibt viele Bios-Versionen, die auch mit vielen Boards kompatibel sind.
Sicherlich gibts auch fuer manche kein update, das ist klar.

Jap, für jedes Mainboard ein eigenes Bios. Und mein Intel Thor-Mainboard ist BIOS-technisch schon seit ein paar Jahren am Ende der Fahnenstange angekommen...
